Musharafa MK is a DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist with broad clinical and organizational experience across the UAE. Having worked with individuals from diverse sociocultural and ethnic backgrounds, she brings a culturally informed and highly sensitive approach to psychological care. She works in helping individuals strengthen resilience, develop their self-awareness, and create meaningful, long-term positive change.
She believes therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual. Guided by the understanding that each person’s emotional patterns, beliefs, and life experiences are unique, Musharafa customizes treatment plans rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.

Her primary therapeutic foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), complemented by techniques directly drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy– anintegrative framework allows her to adapt treatment to the evolving needs of each client.
Musharafa works primarily with kids and adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, self-criticism, OCD, borderline personality traits, stress-related concerns, and work–life balance challenges. She follows a structured approach which is compassionate, emphasizing collaboration, emotional regulation, and sustainable coping strategies.

Musharafa MK holds multiple CBT certifications from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, including specialized training in anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, and self-compassion. Musharafa is fluent in 3 languages- English, Hindi, and Malayalam, enabling her to connect effectively with a wide range of clients.
